Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, ensuring compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
- Execute timely deliveries of goods to designated locations while maintaining accurate delivery records.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks, reporting any mechanical issues promptly.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring that all items are secured properly for transport.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and clients regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Lgv1 licence with a min of 6 months recent experience and with no more than 6 points on licence.
- Valid Drivers CPC and Digi Card
- Previous experience as a delivery driver is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills to interact with team members and clients effectively.
