We specialise in recruiting drivers and other logistics staff for clients across the North East on both a temporary and temporary to permanent basis.
We provide a genuine 24-hour service and because we are ‘owner operated’ you can be assured that your call, no matter what time, will be answered quickly and efficiently by one of us. Our ‘Temp to Perm’ agreements allow you to ‘Try before you Buy’ which removes the risk of employing the wrong person. Also, at the end of the ‘Temp to Perm’ period, you will not be charged any extra fees. We can also help with you with your permanent recruitment requirements saving you time and expense on advertising vacancies, interviewing candidates and employing someone on who may not ‘work out.’
We can also provide solutions for clients requiring experienced managers, technical staff, forklift truck operators and warehouse workers. We are dedicated to the practises and procedures that are fundamentally required within the recruitment industry and are acutely aware of the need for full and complete compliance to, for example, the Road Transport Working Time Regulations.
We personally interview all candidates face to face enabling us to assess not only their experience and skill set but also their personality and attitude; one of the main attributes we believe to be extremely important in terms of how they will relate to your clients and customers.
At interview, candidates are set various assessments, they answer a medical questionnaire and complete a detailed declaration of convictions either pending, past or present. All relevant licences are also checked for both authenticity and endorsements.
- Passports and birth certificates are checked for proof of identity and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Candidates are required to provide us with details of five years’ work history and at least two employment references.
- Candidates will only become eligible to hire out once they meet all the above criteria.
