Lgv1 Driver

We are currently looking for a number of HGV1 drivers to work for our client in Gateshead. Shifts are days Monday to Friday occasional Saturday’s and Sundays as and when needed. Various shifts patterns 4am, 5am,6am, 14.00 available. Inductions are required for this company and will last approx 2.5 hours and include a driving assessment. Once inducted it is immediate starts.

This job is temporary ongoing for the right candidates £16.00 per hour Monday to Friday and £18.00 per hour weekends

Responsibilities:

– Operate a truck to transport goods to specified destinations
– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs
– Provide exceptional customer service by interacting courteously with clients    during deliveries
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

Skills:
– Proven 6 months Hgv1 experience
– Held a relevant Hgv1 Licence for at least 1 year
– Familiarity with navigating routes using GPS or maps
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Job Type: Temporary ongoing

Pay: £16.00-£18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday with possible weekends

Licence/Certification:

• Valid HGV/LGV C+E 1 Year Minimum (required)
• Valid Drivers CPC (required)
• Valid DIGI Card (required)
