This job is temporary ongoing for the right candidates £15.75 per hour Monday to Friday

Responsibilities:

– Operate a truck to transport goods to specified destinations
– Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations during transportation
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including receipts and logs
– Provide exceptional customer service by interacting courteously with clients    during deliveries
– Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle

Skills:

- Valid Drivers cpc and Digi Card
– Proven 6 months Hgv1 experience
– Held a relevant Hgv1 Licence for at least 1 year
– Familiarity with navigating routes using GPS or maps
– Strong attention to detail and time management skills

We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable 7.5 Tonne Driver to work for our client in Washington

Responsibilities:
– Safely operate a 7.5-tonne vehicle to deliver goods to designated locations
– Load and unload materials onto the vehicle using appropriate equipment
– Ensure all deliveries are made on time and in accordance with delivery schedules
– Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving
– Conduct routine inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition
– Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including delivery notes and receipts
– Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any concerns or issues that may arise during deliveries

Requirements:
– Valid driver’s license with the appropriate category for driving a 7.5-tonne vehicle
– Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role
– Excellent driving skills with a valid CPC card
– Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and traffic laws
– Ability to navigate using GPS or maps to find the most efficient routes
– Physically fit and able to lift heavy items when necessary
– Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries
– Strong communication and customer service skills.

Deliveries will be of white goods to customer homes and shops across the North East area
